Book Launch Craze - Jeff and Alyssa

Well ladies and gentlemen, the time has finally come. After almost two years- lots of hard work, endless phone calls, meetings, & edits-and now Jeff’s book comes out this Monday, Oct. 7th!

And with his book comes a whirlwind of a month. A whirlwind of emotions, of traveling, of events. I’m so thankful I get to go with him for most of the month. An adventure lies ahead!

But for real, we need your prayers. We are desperate for your prayers. I come humbly to you today, asking that you’d pray for us throughout the month. We know that we can only do this through His help, His power, His Spirit. He is our joy and what a privilege it is to serve him. But with that comes lots of travel days, early mornings, late nights, lots of speaking for J, & temptations. If you think of us, will you pray for strength, for endurance, for our hearts to be set on Jesus alone? For humility, dependence on Jesus, and that He would be glorified. It’s all to Him, for Him- alone. We want to uplift our Savior & love people well. Please pray for the hearts of those who will read this book, for the hearts of those who will hear Jeff speak- that God would move, that He would soften hearts, that walls would be broken down, and bridges made. That grace would flood this generation; that truth would illuminate and that people would become His people.

I’m so proud of my hubby. The Lord threw him into this and what a wild ride it has been! Jeff has held on tightly, letting Him lead and stepping out in courage to make Him known to a hurting world. I greatly admire Jeff; he challenges me everyday to live with courage.

I pray that we will be a generation who follows God’s leading in our lives. That we would risk it all to make Him famous. I pray that this world would see Jesus through us- that we would love well, love all, and be vessels of grace.

I’m reminded of Isaiah 6:8 ESV, “And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here am I! Send me!”

I wish I had been as willing as Isaiah. But regardless, here we are, and here we go!
