Sometimes I think using the word awkward is just an excuse to not have to risk or put ourselves out there. What if we put down our phones and entered into the uncomfortable moments?

  1. Does anyone else see the irony of a spokesman from American culture saying this? Loads of people say irony whilst clearly not understanding the term…

    1. Maybe you should think about someones feelings when you put something like that. I would love to see you put yourself out there and tell you some of your “flaws” . See how it makes you feel. And to listen to this and not the only comment you make is about his hands. I think we all know who the idiot is.

  3. I never thought about it like this. I am definitely guilty of pulling out my phone when things are “awkward” or have the potential to be “awkward”. I definitely need to start embracing these opportunities rather than running from them.
